Francis Xavier Engineering college has been awarded as the Best Engineering College in Placements in South Tamil Nadu by News-18. Dr. Cletus Babu, Chairman SCAD Group of Institutions received the award from Thiru. Ponmudi, the Honourable Minister for Higher Education, Tamil Nadu. at a meeting held for the purpose in Chennai.

“Abdul Kalam Seva Ratna” Award in recognition of outstanding contribution towards reviving traditional water bodies (deepening Ooranies) and providing drinking water, creating green campuses and villages, given by Tibet’s Spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, in Chennai, Tamilnadu on 9th Nov 2015.

This award was presented to him by Prof. O. P. Kohli, Hon. Governor of Gujarat and prof Dr Veda Pragash Chairman UGC New Delhi on Saturday, 27th August at India International Centre, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi.
